ACROSS THE ALPS
The Tour Transalp is undoubtedly the most famous and spectacular bike race in Europe.
Now in its 21st edition, the Tour Transalp again this year offers 7 stages in which athletes, in pairs or individually, will compete along roads that cross some of the most important Alpine peaks. A unique event in terms of both structure and organisation.
THE STAGE
Approximately 800 participants from 35 nations will compete in the 7-day stage for a total of about 750 kilometres and 15,000 metres of altitude difference. The stage that touches our territory in the flesh is the final one: starting from Lake Roncone, which has been awarded the Blue Flag, they will cover about 1,000 metres of altitude difference between the passes of Duron and Ballino, and then swoop down to cross the finish line in the town of Riva del garda.
NEW 2025 The novelty this year is a 3- or 4-day challenge. The 4-day challenge from 18 June to 21 June also covers our territory.
